Cellanome!
Cellanome seems to have raised $150M+ from DCVC, 8VC and others. There’s not much public information around. But they’ve cropped up on my radar a few times and I figured it was time to take a quick look at some of there patents and see what I can puzzle out.
Cellanome has a number of “heavy hitters” on board including Omead Ostadan (CEO - ex-Illumina CPMO), Mostafa Ronaghi (Co-founder, ex-Illumina CTO), and Jay Flatley (chairperson ex-Illumina CEO!).

So… what does Cellanome do exactly?
“The platform enables iterative live cell phenotypic and functional assays, at scale, clearly linking each cell’s response to specific perturbations.”
This sounds neat, live single cell “omics”.
