Illumina Sues Element
Illumina are suing Element.
This was always on the cards. Illumina have a huge portfolio of patents covering a sequencing approach which is very similar to Elements. Element was founded in part by ex-Illumina employees and its easy to claim that they were “inspired” by Illumina’s IP.
