nCounter Images Look Beautiful!
Today I spent a little more time poking around in the old nCounter I purchased. There were some images sitting on the hard drive (the original TIFFs are linked after the break).
Here’s a cropped part of one of the images, you are pretty clearly see that the SNR is nice and high, and that even in this single channel image the linear barcodes are visible:

You can combine the TIFF stacks in JImage to get a better look at the barcodes:
The 60x objective gives us nice clear images, with a SNR that shouldn’t make analysis too challenging. It seems that the barcodes have been designed to spread out labels, making analysis easier:
