Protein Sequencing And Nanopore Current Ranges...
Protein sequencing with nanopores has come up in a few conversations again recently. The last publication I reviewed on this topic suggested that the state space was pretty huge (10^25). In that paper they were using Oxford Nanopore’s R9.4.1 pore and getting ~10pA of range.
10pA of range seemed “about right” to me. But I wanted to go hunting through patents to see what the range was for DNA… and ponder a bit more about protein sequencing on nanopores…
