Russian Maybe Nanopore? + Real MiSeq Clone! (and PacBio)

Over on the Discord we’ve been discussing the potential customer reaction to Illumina being blocked from selling instruments in China. This only appears to apply to instruments only according to the chatter on the Discord, so current instruments can be supported.

But also according to the Discord chatter, knock-off kits are widely available. This has long been rumored and likely limited to lower range instruments (MiSeq and NextSeq 550).

This prompted me to go searching for information on a certain Russian Miseq-clones which someone introduced me to, but I’d never seen public information on. Turns out there’s now a some public documentation I can point to!
