Sarmal - FLASH Sequencing!

I recently came across Sarmal a new DNA sequencing startup.

The company has a technology they call “FLASH (FLuorescene Activation by Serial Hybridization)”. Which they also describe as using a polymerase. Then there’s this picture:

All of which I find somewhat confusing.

Luckily there’s a patent!
