Singular Spatial Sequencing

Executive Summary: Neat idea, will this be a good fit for the bulk of spatial applications? Also… is the company going to still exist by the time this launches?

Singular Genomics have announced a new spatial instrument! It’s pretty interesting but before we get into that, let’s review!

Singular has been having a hard time, with low instrument sales and a seemingly ever decreasing share price. At one point the market cap. dropped to just $23M, prompting some of us on the Discord to consider buying it.

With things not going particularly well. It feels like they need to shake things up. So they are talking up their spatial instrument now (hey I think I’ve heard this before somewhere!).
