Running alignment and BEST against random HGP002 datasets is probably starting to get old. But there was at least one more I wanted to try. The Ultima Genomics data release! Ultima’s quality claims have been fairly modest in their previous announcements
Yes, as I understand it this is post-ASHG data. You can see the elevated homopolymer error rate in the identity table. I would agree that it’s probably in part due to the use of a single channel chemistry.

Presumably a big part of their inaccuracy is from their Ion Torrent chemistry which isn't synced and suffers homopolymer issues.
